What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our Platform, place an order or subscribe to our newsletter.

When ordering or registering on our Platform, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name or e-mail address. You may, however, visit our web site anonymously.

How to delete your data

After logging in to your personal Taskfabric Cloud account at taskfabric.net/manage you can delete your account (including all data stored in association with your account on our servers).

Scope

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, share and protect information about visitors or registered users on, from or through the Platform and the choices that visitors and registered users have about the collection and use of certain information about them.

Taskfabric GmbH i.G. ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") operates the site and subsites located at taskfabric.com, taskfabric.net, taskfabric.de and mobile applications (collectively "Site") and provides the content (including email and electronic communications) and services (collectively "Services") offered on or through the Site. "Platform" means the "Site" and/ or "Service".

This Privacy Notice does not apply to the websites of third parties to which the Platform may link. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for the content of such websites, their policies or practices, or any product or service that they may offer. Any activity you perform on such third-party websites will be subject to the privacy policies and other terms and conditions expressed therein. We recommend that you review third-party terms before providing any personal information to them.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

We may modify this Privacy Notice from time to time. We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Notice by posting the amended terms in accordance with applicable laws. If you do not agree with the proposed changes, you should discontinue your use of the Platform before the new Privacy Notice takes effect. If you continue using our Platform after the new terms take effect, you will be bound by the modified Privacy Notice.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

To improve our Platform
(we continually strive to improve our web site offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you)

To improve customer service
(your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs)

To process transactions
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

Additionally we comply to European and German regulations, especially GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), TMG (Telemedien Gesetz) and BDSG (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz).

Online Store
All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Taskfabric Cloud
All supplied sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

Non-sensitive information is also transmitted via SSL by default, but can be stored without encryption on our servers.

Do we use cookies?

We do not use cookies on our regular web site.

Cookies are used for access authorization and to log transactions when logging into the Taskfabric Cloud service or purchasing goods in the Store section.

Cookies are only used to track authorization and are not stored or evaluated in any other form.

Newsletter

You can sign up for our free newsletter on our web site by entering your email address. We store time/date of sign up, IP address and email address to provide this service. Each newsletter contains a direct link to unsubscribe from this service again (and delete your email address from our mailing database).

Additionally we send newsletters to customers of our services and products with information related to the purchased services (i.e. major updates or changes to the service). Settings for this can be changed after logging in to your personal Taskfabric Cloud account at taskfabric.net/manage

Do we use log files?

We store access logs to our services to ensure service availability and improve our services.

Log files are not personalized and contain only the IP address, date, time and other technical information depending on your browser or means of access.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties.

This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our web site, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act). we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our Platform, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
